There are so many words of appreciation that need to be given to so many individuals who made the 18th annual Historic Homes Tour an enjoyable and rewarding event.

We want to extend thanks to the homeowners who so generously shared their beautiful homes for this tour. Mike and Sharon Cowley; Charlie Evans; Jim Heid and Marty McGraw; Robert and Sarah Hildreth; Carlos and Kelly Perez; and Shelly Williams and Wes Mutchler all deserve so much gratitude.

We wish to thank all the merchants in town who supported the Homes Tour either by sponsorship, advertising, raffle donations, selling tickets or in-kind contributions, and offer a special note of appreciation to Saggio Hills Development Company for being the event sponsor.

Congratulations to our six raffle winners: Mary & Jim Panttaja, and the Glowinski Family all from San Francisco; Sandy Sweitzer of Arcata; and from Healdsburg – Tarangh Abramson, Dennis Mulvihill, and Dee Rued. (Fittingly, Dee Rued is the owner of Rued Winery, one of the donors of the many fine wines offered in the raffle.)

Many, many kudos go to the Homes Tour committees for their tireless work over for almost a year to ensure the success of the tour. It was a great team who all worked together well.

And finally, thank you to the community for supporting this wonderful event!

We raised $30,455, and have a net profit of $25,304.17. We will donate $6,326 (25%) to Healdsburg Education Foundation for their wonderful mini-grants that are so helpful to local schools. The bulk of the funds go to AAUW scholarships and programs such as Tech Trek and Expanding your Horizon, etc.
