Bridge Group

The newly formed Monday afternoon bridge group met in October 13 for the first time at Wolf Café, eager to play bridge. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was turned down so low that the players, chilled to the bone, had to disband early. This enthusiastic group will try again on November 10 at 1:00 p.m. Lida Simmons will be next month hostess. Call or email Lida at 431-2141 or vsimmons6@comcast.net if you are able to play. Tuesday bridge is continuing as "discussion-play" every Tuesday, 2:00-4:00 p.m., at Wolf Café. However, on the 2nd Tuesday, the 11th, they will play party bridge, starting at 1:00 p.m. Email charleneluks@msn.com, if you are coming. The group meets if there are at least four to play. If there is an odd number, they play as a pair or take turns. Focus is on a special topic each week. The evening bridge group meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month.
